Midwife Appointment
During the midwife appointment, the midwife checks your and your baby’s health and well-being, as well as guides and supports you with pregnancy symptoms and complaints.
Midwives can check your baby’s heart rate, position of the baby, take urine samples, and refer you to other specialists if there is a need. It is also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the midwife who will visit you and your newborn at home in the postpartum period, exchange values and what is important to you in your postpartum care, and help you prepare for the coming weeks after birth.
