Doula Support
Doula support can be an extremely helpful way to support the emotional and physical well-being of women and families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
During pregnancy, the doula will provide regular support, such as helping the mother to develop a birth plan, providing information and resources on different birthing options, and addressing any concerns or questions that may arise. During labor and delivery, the doula will provide continuous support, such as massage, positioning, and relaxation techniques. They will also provide emotional support and encouragement and will advocate for the mother's needs and preferences. After birth, the doula will provide postpartum support, such as help with breastfeeding, emotional support, and practical assistance with newborn care as well as take care of the cooking and any household needs.
